History – Florence Nightingale
Throughout this topic, we will learn about who Florence Nightingale was and the important changes she made to nursing. We will discover why Florence travelled to Scutari to look after injured soldiers, find out what the conditions were like when she got there and explore how she changed hospital conditions for the better.
Science – Animals
During this topic, we will begin by recapping the different animal groups and reminding ourselves of the important features that the animals in each group have. We will then discover the diets of carnivores, herbivores and omnivores and identify some examples of animals with those diets.
