Two children from each class are chosen to receive Shining Lights each week. One child is chosen by their teacher and one is chosen by their classmates. These can be for progress, showing the school values or for a special piece of learning.
Our Shining Lights assembly is also an opportunity to celebrate children’s achievements outside of school and to award the children who have achieve one of their merit award certificates.
Friends and family are invited to share this celebration with us on a Friday morning. A letter will be sent home if your child will be receiving an award.
We also share other celebrations both in and out of school, so please feel free to send in any awards that your child has earnt (such as for dancing, sport or music) so we can share these in our assembly!
