Welcome to Reception!
Hello from Miss Clayton, Miss Yuill and all of the reception children! Please use the links down the left side of the page to learn more about life in reception.
Important information
Your child will have access indoor and outdoor learning daily, please ensure your child has the appropriate clothing for outdoor weather. As the weather becomes cooler the children should have a woolly hat, gloves and a suitable waterproof jacket.
Please ensure that all of your child’s belongings are clearly named, to help prevent items going missing. You may need to check this regularly as due to name tags falling out or washing off.
Reading at home:
- Please ensure you listen to your child read each night at home and sign their reading record.
- Reading to an adult is important as it gives children a chance to practise and to improve their reading skills.
- Your support with reading at home is essential and only by working together can we ensure your child achieves their full potential as a reader.
