Travelling through the Jubilee Year of 2025 as Pilgrims of Hope with our brothers and sisters across the globe was a wonderful experience!
We celebrated the Jubilee in many ways, such as by attending the Trust Synod in Lincoln, holding our own Jubilee themed retreat day in school and learning the Jubilee Hymn.
On Friday 13th June, we were delighted to welcome Bishop Patrick into our school. Bishop Patrick celebrated a thanksgiving Mass in recognition of our achievement of the CAFOD Live Simply Award, which we were proud to have been awarded during the Jubilee Year.
On this day, Bishop Patrick also blessed one of our classrooms, which we have named ‘The Jubilee Room’. This room will stand as a permanent reminder of this joyous year and the difference that having hope can make to our own lives and the lives of those around us.
