Why choose Boston St Mary's Teaching Partnership?
Aspiring teachers on our School Direct programme have the opportunity to work and train within an alliance with diversity at its core. Our alliance of schools is dedicated to making a difference to the lives of young people.
Our partnership, although in its infancy, draws upon a wide range of expertise and experience of supporting students at Bishop Grosseteste University, nurturing students in the skills of teaching and learning, and continues to offer a wide range of opportunities for all staff.
We continue to build on our strong culture, where partnership staff see themselves as educators working in partnership with families and teams of multi-professionals, facilitating teacher training across the Primary phase, serving the Wash catchment and local neighbouring authorities primarily.
BGU has been commended in 2015 as a good provider for all its school-based ITT provision. If you are ambitious, enthusiastic and passionate about teaching and working with young people, we want to hear from you!
What subjects/phases are we offering training places for in 2018/19?
The St Mary's Teaching Partnership (33YT) is recruiting ambitious and committed future teachers on training route places in primary - we do not anticipate offering salaried route places in 2018-19. However, bursuries and grants are available - please contact BGU for more infomation, or visit Get In To Teaching.
Trainees may register for either lower primary (Foundation Stage and Key Stage 1) or Upper Primary (Key Stage 2).
We are delighted to work alongside our partners to offer this School Direct programme.
