Our current topic is Gods and Mortals.

Order the events on a timeline in chronological order. You might choose to cut and stick the pictures or you could present your learning in a different way.

Next, research some of these events (there are some ideas on the slide) and add some bullet points of extra information near the relevant event. Remember to search safely online by putting 'for kids' at the end of every search, and by showing anything that makes you uncomfortable to an adult.

The slides and resources for this lesson are attached at the bottom of this page.

Activity 1:

For your activity today we would like you to create a fact file all about the King of the God's- Zeus. Yesterday in school we found out some information about Zeus when we read the story of Pandora's Box.

With an adult use the internet or any books you have to research King of the God's Zeus. You could use these links below to help you:

Remember to write in full sentences and use sub headings to write your fact file. Can you find out:

•Who was Zeus?
•What was he God of?
•Who was he married to?
•Did he have any children?
•What was his symbol or attribute?
•Did he have any siblings?
Please see the attachments below which include the slides from today's Topic lesson on Greek God's and your activity sheet.

Activity 2:

Next can you sketch and draw a detailed image of Zeus? You could focus on sketching his head/face only- look carefully at the images below to help you. Remember to make full use of your page when sketching.

Don't forget to send us a picture of your completed work to or upload a photo to Teams.

We can't wait to see your fantastic work.
