This week we will continue our work on Suffixes.

Last week we learnt that a suffix is added to the end of a word and that it changes the meaning of a word.

This week we are focusing on the suffixes -less and ful.

With an adult at home, you can view the following video which introduces the suffix ful and ness.

Adding -ful to a word means full of so truthful means you are full of truth, you tell the truth.

Whilst adding -less to a word means without so useless means without a use.

Let's explore the rule of adding the suffix -ful and -less.

Download your challenge sheet below 1 star or 3 star to practice the suffixes ful and less.
