Boston St Mary's RC Primary Academy

Boston's Catholic School

Reception

Welcome from Miss Latty, Mrs Goodfellow, Mrs Sykes, Mrs Bartram

and all the wonderful Reception children!

Our topic this term is 'Why do squirrels hide their nuts?'.

You can find out all about it using the link on the right hand side.

Important information

Your child will have access indoor and outdoor learning daily....please ensure your child has the appropriate clothing for outdoor weather. As the weather becomes cooler-the children should have a woolly hat, gloves, suitable waterproof jacket.

P.E is on a Tuesday. Due to reducing the amount of belongings in school, please ensure your child comes to school dressed in their P.E kit on Tuesdays. Please ensure it is all clearly named, including plimsolls. In wet weather conditions your child should wear their regular school shoes to school and bring their plimsolls separately.

Please ensure that all of your child's belongings are clearly named, to help prevent items going missing. You may need to check this regularly as due to name tags falling out or washing off.

Reading books are changed on Monday, Wednesday and Fridays. We would like your child to be reading daily at home as the more they practice the better they will become. Please sign their Reading Record once they have read so that we know their book needs changing.
