R.E
Our new topic is Friends and Reconciliation
This week we are exploring: Making friends and being a friend.
Talk with your adults at home and discuss what makes a good friend?
Your adult can write your ideas down however you like, be creative or keep it simple, it is up to you.
Key words to think about are: friend, happy, sad, love, make up, kind, gentle, loving, sorry, rule, understanding, new start, friendship.
Key Questions to think about:
- How do we make friends?
- Why is it important to have a friend?
- What do friends do together?
- What can friends do for each other?
Suggested song is: Bruno Mars - Count on me
A suggested prayer to start your R.E session is:
I have chosen the way of faithfulness;
I set your ordinances before me.
I cling to your decrees,
O Lord; let me not be put to shame.
I run the way of your commandments,
for you enlarge my understanding.
Teach me, O Lord, the way of your statutes,
and I will observe it to the end.
Give me understanding that I may keep your law
and observe it with my whole heart.
Amen.
(Psalm 119: 30-34)
