LO: To write a poem / song about the importance of E-safety

Today, I would like you to write your own poem all about the importance of being safe on the Internet.

Miss Parish’s E-Safety Poem

Meeting up with strangers is a bad idea,

Strangers can be dangerous, it’s true I fear!

Only talk to people that you know,

Strangers can be dangerous, I’m sure you know.

You’ve got to, stay safe on the internet

Don’t share details with those you haven’t met!

You’ve got to, keep your information close to our chest

It’s personal and just for you, not for the rest!

Think about the pictures that you’re posting too,

Think about the things they can say about you.

Each and everyone and anyone can view,

So never in your uniform, just think it through!

You’ve got to, stay safe on the internet

Don’t share details with those you haven’t met!

You’ve got to, keep your information close to our chest

It’s personal and just for you, not for the rest!

Be nice to people when you talk to them online,

Be responsible and kind, then you’re doing just fine!

Talk to your adults, talk to a teacher,

We won’t let those online trolls try to defeat ya!

You’ve got to, stay safe on the internet

Don’t share details with those you haven’t met!

You’ve got to, keep your information close to our chest

It’s personal and just for you, not for the rest!
