Would you or your child like to submit a prayer? It would be lovely to have some prayers written by our own community to share on this page. Please e-mail these to Mrs Wright at email@example.com
During these challenging times, we place our hope and trust in the Lord who is always close by. We can turn to the Lord always in prayer:
Merciful God, Come to the help of your people. Be our shelter in this time of peril and strengthen the bonds of our community. Bring healing to all who suffer the ravages of illness and disease and assist those whose skill and art can put an end to this affliction. Through Christ our Lord. Amen.
Our Lady, Help of the Sick … pray for us.
Saint Thérèse of Lisieux ... pray for us.
There are several ways in which to join in with Mass from your own homes. Saint Norbert's Church in Spalding has a live link schedule on their website (http://stnorberts.org.uk ) with the latest information about when you can take part in weekly Mass. In addition, you can also find details about live links for Masses during Holy Week. You can also join in with Mass live from Walsingham too: http://www.walsingham.org.uk/live-stream
A message from Cardinal Vincent Nichols:
“People can follow the Mass online, they can sit together as a family and participate, and we can all learn again how to make an Act of Spiritual Communion.”
“The life of the Church goes on, just not in the public Masses. We have to turn to the rhythms of the spiritual life of the Church. I hope also that the Church’s rhythms of charity will increase, and people will pay attention to those in need, even if that’s simply keeping in touch with people who are isolated over Skype.”
