Pupil Conference 15 Jun 2010
Location:PRSA Boston
The 15th June saw the annual conference for the BNLC. Several children took part from different year groups. Boston St Mary's school delivered a presentation about a poem called Heard it in the Playground by Alan Alberg. The children read out some memo's about Visual Literacy. The memo's contained faults and good parts about making a film. After we had finished our presentation we went around other stands to see what the other schools had achieved with their visual literacy projects. Libby Dean-Allen says "All schools did very well, I am proud of what we all have achieved and the best school was Sibsey Free School. They were the best because they structured their video like a news report and they were all very clear in how they spoke. They used really grown up words that stood out." A good day was had by all and Libby sums up with "I hope I can go again next year."
