Although Boston St Mary’s ranks among the top 100 Primary Schools in England and Wales, staff remain steadfast in their endeavours to raise standards at the school.
We have a great partnership between the home/school and Governing Body. The parent partnership ensures that the school is supported and that staff is kept fully informed of pupil’s needs. The Governing Body works hard in partnership with the Headteacher and Senior Management Team ensuring that school priorities are set and that the future needs of the school are met.

Buildings.
The refurbishment of the Infant toilets in May 2009 and development and building of the Infant Teaching area and toilet facilities for pupils with an identified need has greatly enhanced the Infant wing of the school.
The school is planning major development to address the needs of the present Year 6 classroom. The new build will include storage and toilet facilities and is scheduled for 2012/13.
In the near future we are planning to erect a shelter across the library end of the school. This will provide all year round covered learning space and will double up as a sheltered waiting area for parents who walk to school.
We continue to develop our after school clubs and see this as a positive arrangement for our families. We would like to thank our friends on the Association of Friends of Saint Mary’s School for the extra financial help given to us to develop the school grounds and the many other areas of the curriculum.

Staff
We are looking forward to Mr Ian Gallagher joining the school in September 2010 and taking on the role of the Year 6 teacher.
